If theyve already filled up on kibble most cats wont eat much of their wet. After eight weeks of age kittens are usually ready for kitten food either wet or dry or both. Canned food is also highly palatable and some cats will eat a canned diet over a dry diet particularly if they are picky eaters.
Overall wet foods are great for kittens. Between six and eight weeks kittens are fully weaned from their mothers milk and can eat dry or wet kitten food.
